# Gene Amdahl ## 概要 Gene Amdahl（1922–2015）は、アメリカ合衆国の計算機アーキテクト・計算機科学者。IBM System/360のチーフアーキテクトを務め、後にアムダール社（Amdahl Corporation）を創業した。1967年の論文「Validity of the Single Processor Approach to Achieving Large Scale Computing Capabilities」において、並列計算における高速化の限界を示す「アムダールの法則」を提唱した。
